Most of us have an internal voice: the ordinary stream of thoughts, comments and judgements that runs through the mind. This is not about hearing voices or psychosis. It is about the familiar inner dialogue that says things such as, “I can’t do this,” “I always get things wrong,” or “Something bad is going to happen.”
Over time, repeated self-talk can begin to feel automatic and convincing. We may not even notice how harsh, anxious or limiting it has become. Yet the way we speak to ourselves can affect our confidence, mood, decisions and behaviour.
My work can help you become more aware of these patterns and begin changing them. This does not mean replacing every difficult thought with forced positivity. It means developing a more balanced, useful and compassionate inner voice—one that helps you respond to challenges rather than making them harder.
Using conversation, hypnotherapy and practical techniques, we can explore where these patterns came from, reduce their emotional force and create new ways of thinking that feel believable and natural. The aim is not to silence your mind, but to make it a kinder and more helpful place to live.
